The Adventure at the Museum

Treat yourselves to a family outing that combines pure enjoyment with a fascinating introduction to history! On arrival at the Museum's admissions desk, you'll receive a free backpack containing everything you'll need for your Adventure at the Museum.
This activity is available at all times for the permanent exhibition Wearing our Identity - The First Peoples Collection and starting June 19 for the exhibition Bens - The Legendary Deli.
Every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Atrium
Designed for children, this hands-on workshop features themes related to our exhibition Music - Quebec: From Charlebois to Arcade Fire.
Until July 27: making maracas.
From August 3 to October 12: creating album covers.
Saturday and Sunday at 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the Level 1 Exhibition Hall
Families are invited to come and hear tales related to exhibitions that will unleash the imagination.
Last Wednesday of each month, from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Share your passion for history with your baby and learn to crochet, a craft that's been passed down through the generations!
Wool and crochet hooks are provided by the Museum. Touch and play boxes are available for your use in the exhibitions.

"I just wanted to thank the museum for putting on the babies' day on the last Wednesday of each month. It is the second time that I have gone and I have enjoyed myself considerably. It is a really nice activity to do with my baby and the boxes of hands on activities are very interesting and fun for her. There are not a lot of opportunities in the city to do things like this and to really have something that is interactive for the babies. Also, it has encouraged me to take my daughter to the museum which I hope to become a tradition for a long time to come.
