This year, we are putting students in the centre of the action by giving them access to exhibitions that are instructive, entertaining and thought-provoking. We want to encourage students to not only examine objects that are part of the history of Montreal but also to embrace their past and better understand its links with the present.
The McCord Museum is a one-of-a-kind resource that enables students to study social sciences via the material culture of Montreal, Quebec and Canada. Founded in 1921 by David Ross McCord, a passionate collector, the Museum makes history accessible to one and all.
Our activities include a guided tour and a workshop.
