McCord Museum Looking for Volunteer Guides

Montréal, Thursday, August 12, 2004 – Do you have a passion for history? Are you looking for a way to share that interest with others? The McCord Museum of Canadian History is looking for volunteer guides to tell the story of Canada’s past to visitors of all ages.

Located in the heart of downtown Montreal, the McCord (www.mccord-museum.qc.ca) is home to one of the finest historical collections in North America, including a vast collection of First Nations artifacts, the largest collection of clothing made or worn in Canada, and the famous Notman Photographic Archives. Through its exhibitions, its cultural and educational activities and its remarkable collections, the McCord brings to life the rich heritage of Montreal and Canada.
